I’m Babak, a water/hydroinformatics researcher. What is hydro informatics, you may wonder. Well, it is where data science, hydrology, water engineering, and everything in between meet. 

I’m currently doing my QUEX-joint Ph.D. project at Exeter, UK. The idea is to utilize everything I’ve learned and the new skills I’m picking up to understand how we can use “desalinated water” for irrigation in the most sustainable way. Exciting stuff!
